Clytie Dangar

Global Head of Partnerships, IMDEX

With over 20 years of international experience in developing and negotiating complex, high-value transactions, principally within the mining and industrial sectors, Clytie has recognised expertise in high-level business development and technology commercialization within the global mining industry.

Clytie joins IMDEX in late May 2021 as Global Head of Partnerships from CRC ORE where she worked as GM Commercialisation focused on commercialising the cloud-based Integrated Extraction Simulator platform and Grade Engineering technologies.  She has held senior roles in Global Account Management with Orica and managed Orica’s New Zealand Mining Services business for several years. Early career development with Rio Tinto Aluminium lead to a move to London where she worked in commodity trading for six years before returning to Australia. She worked for KPMG in a Business Development role for two years before joining Orica.

Clytie is a Director of Austmine.  In 2020 she was shortlisted in the Women in Industry Awards for Excellence in Mining and Mentor of the Year and was a Chief Executive Women (CEW) scholarship winner in 2015.  She holds a Bachelor of Economics and governance qualifications from AICD and the Governance Institute

She is committed to supporting young people in developing their careers in the mining industry through a range of formal and informal mentoring programs.
