Austmine 2019 exceeded all expectations and was the biggest, best and most successful show, with visitor and exhibitor numbers higher than ever before. Over 1,100 members, miners, educators, government and other stakeholders came together in Brisbane from 21-23 May to discuss the digital journey of our industry and creating a shared vision for our future.

In addition to the conference program driving change industry change, Austmine 2019 was underpinned by a series of standout interactive elements, expanding educational and networking opportunities  including live technology demonstrations on a SOLD-OUT exhibition floor and unparalleled opportunities to connect with the world’s leading mining and METS companies, across our pre-conference workshops, Innovation Ideas Exchange, Meet the Miners, BHP breakfast panel, networking drinks, speed networking sessions and the SOLD-OUT Austmine Industry Leaders’ Dinner and Awards.

The Austmine Industry Leaders’ Dinner and Awards was the social highlight, welcomed over 750 attendees to celebrate the industry’s innovative and successful METS and miners of the year as well as Austmine’s 30th Birthday.

With the theme Mining Innovation: The Next Horizon, the comprehensive program featured a high calibre selection of international and Australian speakers, from mining companies, METS, academia and government exploring cutting-edge mining technology, present case studies on innovative partnerships, and share insights into how collaboration and the adoption of innovation are critical to our sustainable future.
