Dr Thomas Riegler has 15 years of international experience (Australia, Canada, China, France, Ireland and Sweden) in mineral resources from exploration operations to research and development on various locations and projects on a wide range of commodities including gold, base metals, lithium and uranium.

Thomas’ main fields of expertise are mineralogy and geochemistry from the fundamental mineral properties to their application to mineral exploration and mineral processing. Within Eramet’s Innovation and Technology direction his broad geoscience expertise is supporting key strategic projects and contributes to the definition of the company’s best practices and reference documents aiming to reach the highest operational standards.

Thomas holds a BSc. in geology as well as a MSc. and PhD in economic geology and is a registered PGeo with the Institute of geologist of Ireland and EurGeol with the European Federation of Geologist.
