Peter Johnson has more than 20 years’ experience in development and application of technology in the global mining industry. In 2000 he established and led the Maptek research and development team which developed the world’s first LiDAR instruments designed specifically for mine measurement.

Peter has held various senior management positions with Maptek since 2006 and has been responsible for introducing various technology solutions that are now successfully deployed in the global mining industry. Peter is the Chairman of Maptek, a Commercial Advisor with PETRA Data Science and a Non Executive Director of K2fly.
