Erik Pretorius is the Global Lead for Large- and Strategic Mining Projects and – Initiatives in ABB. He has spent the last 19 years in numerous Operational-, Engineering- and Management positions with a strong background in the establishment of turnkey electrical- and control Infrastructures for some of the Mining Industry’s flag ship projects.

His interests over recent years gravitated towards the establishment of designs and philosophies related to All-Electric Mines, supported by a strong underlying digital infrastructure under ABB’s eMine offering in support of the Mining Industry’s transition to a sustainable, greener future.
