David has over 30 years of CSR and ESG experience in the Papua New Guinea mining and community development sectors having been instrumental in the development of a number of significant projects including Ok Tedi, Kainantu, Hidden Valley, and Wafi-Golpu.  David first came to Papua New Guinea as a Peace Corps Volunteer and prior to commencing in the mining sector managed an integrated development project for AusAID (now DFAT).  David is currently Head of External Affairs, Sustainability & Development for the Wafi-Golpu Joint Venture and is the Chairman of the Morobe Provincial Health Authority.
