Cameron Smart is the Founder and Managing Director of Cammel Consulting Pty Ltd as well as joint founder and Managing Director of BeyondLOM Pty Ltd. Cameron holds tertiary qualifications in both Civil Engineering and Surveying and has 30+ years’ experience in the mining and construction sectors, both within Australia and Internationally. Projects completed have included mine site upgrades, mine and Civil infrastructure development and construction, mine tailings facilities, mine site rehabilitation and infrastructure works associated with CSG including wastewater storage facilities. Over the past six years he has been intensively involved in minesite rehabilitation and is the current joint winner of both the Environment and Contractor/Supplier of the year awards for the Bowen Basin Coal Mining Club. Cameron prides himself on identifying and delivering innovative solutions to his client.
