Amitesh leads the Vedanta's Corporate Venture Fund and Spark Programs, working closely with Vedanta group company’s business leaders, CDOs/CTOs, and consultants to drive value-based venture investing through Spark Ventures and pilot programs with startups via Spark Connect. His collaborative approach to working with business leaders supports Vedanta's Spark Vision by fostering a startup ecosystem and assisting business units with volume growth, cost efficiency, business excellence, and ESG. 

Amitesh brings over 16 years of finance and investment leadership experience across various sectors, including technology, renewable energy, manufacturing, fintech, and social media. He holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Maine Board of Accountancy in the United States, as well as a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Secretary from India. Prior to joining Vedanta, Amitesh held leadership roles at LinkedIn, KPMG, GE, and Greenlight Planet. As Partner, Head of Advisory, and CFO at SIMA Funds, he led two funds in the Energy and Impact space, with over USD 200 million in assets under management. In recognition of his contributions to the industry, Amitesh was named one of India's top 20 CFOs and received the Global Achievers Award from the India Achievers Forum in 2021. Additionally, he is involved in angel investing, with a focus on fintech, edtech, impact, and e-commerce firms.
